Controversy and ethical correctness collide on the streets of Toronto when Finn, lesbian mother to hell-raising daughter Zelly, comes under fire from pro-life protesters at the abortion clinic where she works. With the stress of having an unruly daughter and a controversial workplace, Finn’s girlfriend duly leaves her, only for an unlikely romance to develop shortly afterwards with Eve, the cop who has been assigned as her bodyguard. As tensions begin to escalate between the clinic and the protesters, Zelly becomes increasingly reckless. Yet Finn has kept a secret from Zelly that may just put her on the right track. Problem is, should the truth come out, it will rock the foundations of the genetics industry and put her at the mercy of the pro-lifers, thus putting her in grave danger.
